It’s the final day of the #31days31waysremix hosted by Greater Than Rubies (and this is me kicking myself for not writing that yesterday was the penultimate day! Wasted opportunity to say penultimate!)
Anyway, the prompt was to Create Your Own Look, or as I like to call it: Freesytle!
Here’s what I came up with, for a festive day of Homeschool Co-Op, Halloween Partying and Trick-or-Treating!
I picked up this striped sweatshirt at Goodwill last weekend for super cheap – I really like it! It has a kangaroo pouch pocket, which is so handy for things like my phone, when my bottoms have no pockets of their own (*shakes fist at fashion industry*). Also digging the 3/4 sleeves (I run warm).
These wine-colored tights were a recent acquisition from Old Navy, and I’m so glad I bought them. I basically had forgotten tights existed for like the last 10 years (mild climate here!). They’re so fun as a way to add a bit of color to a look! I think I might have to go pick up a few more colors.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate this badass coat that I also found at Goodwill last month? Oh. Mah. Gawd. When I tried it on (in the middle of the aisle, because, duh: coat) a random lady nearby was like, “You have to buy that.” And I was like, you are so right! It fits better than any other coat have ever owned! I’m in lurve.
Oh yeah, and my kids are cute, too, I guess. 😉 My Skeletor (lights up!) and Purple Wizard (he loooooves purple so much, it makes my heart sing!) had a blast trick-or-treating and are already mourning the fact that they have to wait another year to do it again. ❤

Leveled Up Style 
That coat is too amazing for words. Why oh why does everyone have the best thifting experiences without me?! I can never find anything fab on the rare occasions that I go. Sigh.
I also shake my fist at the fashion industry – especially dress/skirt folks – for always opting for no pockets. Kangaroo pockets on a cuddly top, however, is perfect for fall.

Soooo many goodies! And I’m lucky (or unlucky?) enough to have one kid that doesn’t really like chocolate much, so bwahahahaha! All The Chocolate!

Not only do I have one that doesn’t like chocolate, I have a husband that’s ALLERGIC to it. Actually, he’s caffeine-intolerant. Since childhood. Puts him to sleep. Weirdest thing ever. But my youngest and I bond over brownies. 😉
